FBA Studio, an independent publishing imprint grounded in the ethos of Feminist Border Arts. FBA Studio supports research-creation and concept-driven work that moves across and beyond traditional disciplinary and genre boundaries, treating the zine as theory, the book as experiment, and the printed page as a site for engaged scholarly and creative practice.

As an initial project within this framework, I developed Ghost Log: Liner Notes from the In-Between, a research-creation book that produces theory through form. Working as a mode of autotheory, the project integrates critical reflection, media studies, and experimental writing to explore memory, grief, queer temporality, and archival presence. Through its hybrid structure, the work advances theory-in-practice by treating form itself as an analytic method.

FBA Studio extends Feminist Border Arts beyond the festival and its other critical-creative contexts by supporting the circulation of research-creation through publications that can move across multiple venues, including zine exhibitions, artist book contexts, and scholarly publication and distribution channels such as university presses.
